Five Years. Really? Five Years? A winding (bumpy and gnarly) road. Still moving forward -- even if it takes one step forward and two back. Love conquers all. Happy Alive Day, Son!! We love you.

PS No good guys killed (just many Tangos). Two wounded. Both recovered.

I've commented on your blog before, but on this, your latest post, I must apologize in advance for my bluntness and slight profanity (I tamed it down a bit).
I just learned what an "Alive Day" was earlier today. So... holy s..crap. Your boy (young man) is one lucky.. fellow, to be alive AND to have a mom and family that loves him.
Five years --- I am so grateful.
That has been five years...already.
We sure have stuffed a lot of living in those five years...Thank God!
